Internet speed available in rural communities

Instituto Novo Sertão believes in the power of transformation through education and technology, and based on this idea, we started the project Todos CONECTADOS, in partnership with the company VIASAT, a reference in satellite internet throughout the world.
The Todos CONECTADOS Project takes quality internet to communities in the rural area of the municipality of Betânia do Piauí-PI, places with little infrastructure and where conventional internet is difficult to install. In this regard, the partnership with the company VIASAT makes all the difference, as it allows the arrival of the internet in remote and difficult to access places.
In addition to internet access, the project trains young people and adults in digital inclusion through a computer course designed exclusively for the sertanejo context, aiming to bring these residents of rural areas to the digital world for the first time and train them to entrepreneurship actions and the new reality of the labor market.
At the end of the course, the best students are directed to internships in public bodies and other enterprises so that they can put into practice the knowledge and tools learned in the course.
We believe in a Transformed Sertão, education and technology are part of this process! Be our partner and together we can change lives in the sertão!
