This Sunday (5) we had the joy of celebrating Easter with the first performance of the Novo Sertão Symphonic Band in partnership with the Sertão Missionary Church in Betânia do Piauí-PI.
About 22 young people who are part of our music school and who have been committed to rehearsing in recent months were able to show all their talent to the group that attended the Easter celebration at the Missionary Church this past Sunday.
The parents of many students were present to accompany the band's first performance and the event was broadcast live on the social networks of the Instituto Novo Sertão. Band.
In the city of Betânia, right after the presentation, everyone commented on how fast the progress of young people was in learning in such a short time many instruments that until recently were unknown in the region, such as clarinet, flute, trumpet, among others.
The young people are now continuing their classes and rehearsals so that in the future they will be performing with new repertoire, after the success of the first performance, everyone is excited and excited to continue dedicating themselves to music and proudly perform in the first Symphonic Band in the region.
